Agidia

It is the first village you will meet after leaving the town of Naxos, at a distance of 3km only.

Agios Arsenios

The village is also called Agersani and according to the tradition it owes its name to a little church found outside the settlement.

Agios Thalelaios

This small village is located 5km far from the town of Naxos, Chora. Its residents, who are about 90, are mainly farmers who cultivate the settlement’s fertile valley.

Akadimoi

It is a small village near Chalki. This verdant, picturesque village is located in a valley with narrow streets and the tower of Kalavrou-Markopoliti that pulls the visitor’s attention with its big dimensions and its architecture.

Apeiranthos

Apeiranthos was a community until 1998 that later became a settlement (local department) of Drymalias municipality of Naxos and it finally ended up to be a municipal community of Naxos and Small Cyclades municipality.

Apollonas

This small, picturesque coastal village is located in the northeastern part of the island, at a distance of 36km far from Chora.

Chalki - Tragaia

In the centre of the island, at a distance of 16km far from Chora, it is located the verdant plain of Tragaia fully covered with olive trees.

Chora - Naxos Town

It is about the port of the island and the first place that everybody meets reaching Naxos.

Damalas

It is a small village at a distance of 14km far from Chora near the region of Tragaia.

Damarionas

It is a small traditional village located in the valley of Tragaia among crops and olive trees.

Danakos

It is a mountain village at a distance of 25km far from Chora with luxuriant vegetation as it is built between two mountain slopes.

Egares

In the northern part of the island and at a distance of 7km from Chora you will meet the village of Eggares located in the homonymous verdant plain.

Filoti

At a distance of 17km far from Chora the biggest village of Naxos is located, built between two verdant mountainsides.

Galanado

At a distance of 6km far from Chora in the southwestern part of the island this small village is located.

Galini

In the northern part of the island, in the direction of Apollonas, at a distance of 6km from Chora you will meet this beautiful village located on the hill shortly before the valley of Eggares.

Glinado

It is 6km from Chora situated on a hill in the southwestern part of the island and with an amphitheatrical view just like Galanado.

Kaloxylos

It is a tiny village with just 100 residents in the wide region of Chalki (Tragaia), at a distance of 16km far from Chora.

Kerami

This village belongs to the wide region of Tragaia at a distance of 14km far from Chora located in the verdant plain that spreads all over.

Keramoti

It is one of the most beautiful and still traditional mountain villages of Naxos, at a distance of 25km far from Chora.

Koronida

In the northern part of the island and at a distance of about 40km from the port of Naxos it is located the village of Koronida or Komiaki, as it is called by the locals.

It is one of the biggest and most significant mountain villages of Naxos with a valuable tradition and history.

Kourounochori

It is a small village located just opposite to Melanes, at a distance of 8km from Chora.

Kynidaros

Kynidaros was a community until 1998 that later became a settlement (local department) of Naxos municipality and it finally ended up to be a municipal community of Naxos and Small Cyclades municipality.

Melanes

It is one of the oldest villages of the island, at a distance of 8km from the port of Naxos.

Mesi

It is a small picturesque village with really few permanent residents located between Apollonas and Skado and probably that explains why it is called Mesi.

Miloi

It is about a quite unknown village of Naxos but very interesting and beautiful, though.

Moni

It is a mountain village in the centre of the island and at a distance of 20km far from Chora.

Monoitsia

It is a tiny village located in the plain of Tragaia, built next to a stream with its really few but picturesque houses.

Potamia

At a distance of 8km from the port it is located the village of Potamia. It is one of the most beautiful villages of the island, built in a valley rich in vegetation.

Sagri

This village is located in one of the most fertile areas of Naxos and at a distance of 11km far from the port.

Skado

It is one of the smallest but very picturesque villages of Naxos at a distance of 38km far from the port.

Tsikalario

It is about a small village at a distance of 9km from Chora, located between Chalki and Potamia.

Vivlos (Tripodes)

The village of windmills, which undoubtedly adorn the place located up to the hill, looks like a unique painting.
