It is a tiny village with just 100 residents in the wide region of Chalki (Tragaia), at a distance of 16km far from Chora. It is verdant, like the whole region, with olives, vineyards and fruit trees composing a beautiful green natural setting. Strolling around you will see white small houses with their beautiful gardens and picturesque stone paved narrow streets. The really few residents mainly deal with agriculture and livestock farming.
Entering to the village you will see the imposing church of the Holy Trinity (“Agia Triada”) and in the centre it is located the recently renovated oil press which is open to the public. The region of Tragaia is dotted with little churches while near the village stand out those of Agios Ioannis Theologos and of Panagia Damniotissa.
